Robert Parham

From Colorado classic scenes (Maroon Bells, San Juan Mountains, Mount Sneffels, Garden of the Gods, Rocky Mountain National Park) to the best of the rest of the West (Yellowstone, Grand Teton, Grand Canyon, Yosemite, Glacier, Banff, Jasper, Mount Rainier National Parks) and beyond, Robert Parham relishes each opportunity to capture the beauty and variety of the natural world through photography. Having fallen in love with the Rocky Mountains at a young age, he combined that love with his passion for photography, and eventually moved from his native Arkansas to Colorado Springs in 1992.
Robert's scenic/nature photographs have been published in various national periodicals, calendars, greeting cards, and posters, and are currently shown in four galleries. His photographic prints adorn the walls of homes and offices across America and overseas. In November, 2010 the Chinese government in Shanxi Province hosted an exhibit of Robert's work in the city of Taiyuan, China. From there, the exhibit containing ninety photos will go on the road and be displayed in other Chinese cities for various lengths of time. Robert and Kathy were honored guests at the opening ceremony for the exhibit.
Having photographed weddings for the past twelve years, Robert declares: "It is a real joy to capture those special wedding day moments that only happen once, and to preserve them for the bride and groom for a lifetime." His high school senior portrait photography was a natural progression from shooting weddings, and something he and his wife, Kathy, enjoy doing as a team. Together, they make it a fun experience for each senior, and the end result is artistic excellence in photos that will be enjoyed for years to come.
